Abstract

The panel is made of a metal framework on which is bolted an exterior panel on the interior of which is glued a bed of insulation. The inside of the insulation carries a bed of mortar paste on which is fixed a sheet of glass fibre which extends beyond the edges of the panel and which carries another bed of mortar paste on its inside. The panel is fixed to the wall by bolting to top and bottom horizontal rails bedded into the wall and the top of the panel is finished by a capping of dressed wood.
