Abstract
The medical appts. includes a printed circuit in which there are two transistors (T1, T2) mounted in common emitter mode to form a signal generator. The frequency of this generator may be between 5 and 50 Hz and is adjusted by the potentiometer (P1) connected to the base of the second transistor. The periodic signal is taken from the collector of the second transistor (T2) to be applied to an amplifier circuit comprising two further transistors (T3, T4). The signal is applied via a second potentiometer (P2) which is used to control the intensity of the output signal. The output signal is applied to a loudspeaker (2) mounted in a cylindrical resonant case, with an opening which is intended to be applied to the area of the body to be treated. A casing of 10 cm dia. is suitable since it may house a suitable size loudspeaker, the printed circuit, control potentiometers and batteries.
