Abstract

Procédé de traitement de vieux papiers dont un pourcentage élevé est constitué par du papier imprimé et/ou contenant du bois. On traite les vieux papiers par dissolution, pour les séparer en fibres distinctes, par séparation des particules colorantes, par flottation et enfin par blanchiment, cette dernière opération s'effectuant en plusieurs phases dont la première utilise un hypochlorite et la seconde un hydrosulfite de sodium (dithionite) ou de l'eau oxygénée. Procédé permettant d'obtenir des papiers de qualité supérieure en éliminant la coloration jaune-gris.
