Abstract

The protective strips are made from semi-cylindrical material. The material is semi-rigid and flexible and may be distorted without damage. The material is placed along the corners of a package and strapped onto the package by cords or strips. The strips will take up the general shape of the package and may be deformed around a corner by tightening the cord. The flexibility of the corners allows a longitudinal step in the packing without having to use two sections of the corners.
