Il s'agit d'un couvercle de boîte du genre dont les rebords 11 sont << en trottoir >>, chacun de ces rebords formant un volume creux en caisson. Suivant l'invention un tel couvercle de boîte est formé d'une part d'une barquette 17 qui, au-delà de son rebord 22, présente des languettes 23 dans le prolongement de sa semelle 20, et d'autre part d'une enveloppe 18, qui habille cette barquette en contournant les languettes 23 de celle-ci. Application aux couvercles de boîte utilisés notamment en confiserie.
