Abstract

The laser telemeter or instrumer comprises a housing contg. a laser (2) which emits luminous pulses reflected by a moving reflector (5) towards a fixed reflector (65). These pulses pass via a focal system (61, 62) and a second moble reflector (4) to be directed towards a target. The pulses diffused by the target are reflected by the final reflector (4) to pass via a focal system (71, 72) to the moving reflector (5) and then to an objective lens (31) for observation. A disturbing movement to the instrument causes the moving reflector to incline for both emitted and received pulses and thus provide correction for the movement. The telemeter instrument can be hand held or mounted on a vehicle.
