Abstract

L'invention concerne les techniques de visualisation et d'enregistrement des images visibles de champs électriques et magnétiques. Le procédé faisant l'objet de l'invention est caractérisé notamment en ce que, avant ou après la mise en place du support 1, 2, dans le champ de forces, ce support est chauffé jusqu'à une température supérieure à la temperature de ramollissement du liant 3 dans lequel sont uniformément réparties les particules 4, et l'enregistrement de l'image visible obtenue du champ de forces s'effectue simultanément avec la visualisation quand le support est placé dans le champ de forces. L'invention s'applique notamment à la défectoscopie des matériaux, au contrôle de la qualité de l'enregistrement sur bandes magnétiques.
