Abstract

L'invention concerne l'appareil de traitement d'un patient. Une lampe à rayons ultraviolets 10 est couplée à une fibre optique. La lampe est alimentée d'une part par un circuit d'alimentation continue qui fournit une tension d'environ 600 volts aux deux électrodes d'alimentation générale de cette lampe, ainsi que par un circuit générateur d'impulsions de haute tension, à cadences variables, couplé à l'électrode d'excitation 13 de la lampe. On produit ainsi un rayonnement ultraviolet pulsé à taux de répétition réglable. Application notamment aux traitements de patients.
