Abstract

Procédé et machine pour revêtir l'âme d'un câble électrique d'une gaine métallique. Ce procédé comprend plusieurs phases consistant notamment à faire avancer l'âme du câble dans la direction de son axe, puis à faire avancer simultanément avec l'âme une bande de matière constitutive de la gaine et à appliquer des forces de formage à celle-ci pour revêtir l'âme de ladite gaine. Application à la fabrication des câbles destinés au transport de l'électricité.
