Abstract

An indicator disc is required to be displayed by a vehicle driver who parks his vehicle in a controlled parking zone: the disc indicates time of arrival and time of departure. An indicator disc comprises a square envelope (10) inside which a toothed disc (12) is able to be rotated about an axis (11). On one side of the disc are indicated the hours (7 to 13) during which parking is permitted in a blue zone and on the other side are the hours for a red zone. A window (13) on each face of the envelope has two index marks (14, 15) which are angularly displaced by a time period which corresponds with the authorised parking period. The arrival time on the disc is set to align with the index and the departure time is automatically indicated.
