Abstract

Procédé d'amélioration de la récupération du pétrole d'une formation. Une micro-émulsion type phase supérieure ou type phase intermédiaire et une phase aqueuse immiscible avec la micro-émulsion sont injectées simultanément dans une formation souterraine. Les viscosités des phases injectées sont réglées de manière que le rapport des viscosités de la phase aqueuse et de la micro-mulsion correspondent à une approximation au rapport des viscosités de la saumure et du pétrole du réservoir. Les vitesses d'injection des phases sont telles qu'elles permettent d'obtenir des vitesses de déplacement semblables du pétrole, de la micro-émulsion et de la phase aqueuse dans le réservoir. Le pétrole est déplacé vers un puits de production, puis extrait Application à l'extraction du pétrole.
