Abstract
Ce procédé est du type à précipitation, gélification, lavage et séchage. Suivant l'invention il est caractérisé en ce que, lors du lavage, on porte l'hydrogel à un pH compris entre 1 et 3,5 et en ce qu'on décale ensuite ce pH vers le point neutre (pH = 7) par le séchage consécutif exécuté au moyen d'un agent desséchant qui traverse la couche de gel de haut en bas dans le sens allant du gel sec vers le gel humide, c'est-à-dire à contre-courant. L'invention s'applique notamment à la fabrication du gel de silice destiné à la récupération de l'eau atmosphérique dans les régions désertiques.This process is of the precipitation, gelation, washing and drying type.
