Abstract

Cette roue excavatrice est du type comportant deux disques formant les parois latérales entre lesquelles sont fixées des parois fixes 21' à 27' terminées par des lames tranchantes et qui forment les parois avant des godets, les parois arrière 68 à 73 sont articulées au dos des parois avant pour pouvoir prendre une position radialement intérieure 68, 69, 70, 73 ou une position radialement extérieure ou de déversement 72 et 71. Les parois arrière sont commandées par des poussoirs 54 à 60, eux mêmes articulés sur des maillons 42 à 48 d'une chaîne 40. Suivant l'invention, cette chaîne est positivement guidée par une grande roue dentée centrale 34 et une petite roue dentée déportée 36. Chacune de ces roues tourne librement, la première sur l'arbre central de la roue et la deuxième sur un arbre fixé à une ferrure 39 solidaire de l'arbre central. La chaîne présente un mou calculé qui a pour effet d'imprimer un mouvement de fouet aux poussoirs et aux parois arrière au moment du déversement.
