Abstract

Plate type heat exchangers are supported on the ground by a central rib and at the opposite end are supported by a bracket. This bracket also supports the plate so s to form a chimney with a vertical air draught. The bracket is supported by a truss wh ich may be stowed in a pit and is actuated by the jack. The position of the exchanger may be regulated automatically according to the performance of the installation.
