Abstract

Refractory support track for firing flat products is claimed, esp. porcelain or earthenware plates, of the type consisting of a base plate designed with grooves to receive controlling support bars or reglets and two side uprights designed to carry one or more combs for keeping the plates out of contact with each other. Specifically the uprights each possess >=1 groove for engaging a comb so that it can slide freely. Less pieces of refractory kiln furniture are needed to make up the support rack.
