Abstract

The tube-bundle-type heat exchanger has a number of partition walls. The bundle formed by the tubes (3) fixed to the base (2) is divided by one or more or these walls (4). The walls run parallel to the axes of the heat exchanges tubes, so that chambers are formed which are enclosed by the base, and open at the top. They are surrounded by the walls and the heat exchanger casing (1), and the medium flows through the casing alternately at right angles to the tubes.
