Abstract

The saw band machine consists of a frame on which three discs are mounted. Two discs are mounted vertically above one another and guide the band through a slot in the saw table. A drive motor is mounted on flanges on the frame and drives the third disc. The mounting of the drive motor and third disc forms part of an eccentric arrangement. The position of the eccentric can be adjusted by a screw to adjust the tension of the saw band.
