Abstract

The engine mounting unit comprises a metal bush (1), which is vulcanised to a domed cover (9), the bush having a blind hole (4) threaded for the equipment. The cover made from elastomer has straight sides, its interior shape around the bush being toroidal. A conical spring (17) fits inside the cover, one end in the rib and the other held (18) under the bush: the interior space is filled with a heavy silicone grease (16).
