Abstract

The ear-protector is worn between the ear and a pair of earphones to prevent the transmission of infection between successive users. The protective comprises a contoured rim which is shaped to fit over the ear and to abut the rim of the ear-phone. This is made of a soft, absorbent material comprising several thin layers of paper. The central part of the protector is dished with several orifices to permit sound to pass through. The periphery may be provided with an adhesive strip to secure the protector to the ear.
