Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil d'étalonnage d'un détecteur magnétique d'azimut. Une sonde électromagnétique 10 d'un compas gyromagnétique met en oeuvre le gyroscope 13 du compas pour la formation de références de cap auxquelles les signaux de sortie de la sonde électromagnétique 10 sont comparés dans un circuit 12 afin que des données d'erreurs cardinales et intermédiaires soient formées et permettent la création de signaux de compensation. Les références de cap sont compensées de la dérive du gyroscope. L'étalonnage est réalisé par orientation de l'aéronef à plusieurs caps. Application à l'étalonnage des détecteurs d'azimut des aéronefs.
