Abstract

The window or door wing is equipped with a corner-deflection device (2) which is provided in the corner region of the wing frame. The corner-deflection device (2) consists essentially of a housing (3) and of a spring band (4) which is guided therein and to the ends of which coupling pieces (5, 6) are fastened. The housing (3) is equipped on both sides, in the region of its vertical leg (7), with guide strips (8) which can be pushed into the undercuts (9) of an anchoring groove (10) of the vertical spar (11) of the wing frame. So that the housing (3) can be pushed into the anchoring groove (10), the wing frame is equipped, in the region of its upper corner, with indentations (12) which, after the housing (3) has been mounted, are closed by means of cover strips (13) of the housing which project on both sides.
