Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement de verre propre à lui conférer une coloration à variation continue du coefficient de transmission de lumière dans le sens vertical. Cette coloration est obtenue par évaporation d'une poudre P d'acétylcétonate de cobalt bivalent ou trivalent, disposée sous une épaisseur variable en regard du verre à teinter A qui sera chauffée de façon non uniforme, par exemple en abritant une partie de celui-ci par un écran thermique 7. Application à une bande alvéolée formée d'une série d'empreintes bombées destinées à la découpe d'oculaires pour lunettes solaires.
