Abstract
L'invention est relative à un procédé pour l'élimination et la récupération de chlorure de vinyle résiduel dans une bouillie aqueuse obtenue après la polymérisation en suspension de chlorure de vinyle en milieu aqueux, caractérisé en ce qu'on transfère la bouillie aqueuse de polymérisation du réacteur vers un séparateur gaz-liquide à travers une première conduite, la bouillie aqueuse subissant ainsi une diminution de pression d'au moins 2 bar, ce qui entraîne dans cette première conduite une évaporation du monomère vinylique contenu dans la bouillie aqueuse, son temps de séjour dans cette première conduite n'étant pas inférieur à 0,05 sec., une pression du mélange qui est approximativement égale à la pression atmosphérique, et on soumet le mélange de bouillie aqueuse et de monomère gazeux à une séparation gaz-liquide dans un séparateur.The invention relates to a process for the elimination and recovery of residual vinyl chloride in an aqueous slurry obtained after the suspension polymerization of vinyl chloride in an aqueous medium, characterized in that the aqueous polymerization slurry is transferred from the reactor to a gas-liquid separator through a first pipe, the aqueous slurry thus undergoing a pressure reduction of at least 2 bar, which causes in this first pipe an evaporation of the vinyl monomer contained in the aqueous slurry, its time residence in this first pipe not being less than 0.05 sec., a pressure of the mixture which is approximately equal to atmospheric pressure, and the mixture of aqueous slurry and gaseous monomer is subjected to gas-liquid separation in a separator.
