Abstract

Ruban chauffant comprenant une paire d'électrodes 10 linéaires, noyées dans un corps 11, 12, formé d'un matériau conducteur de l'électricité tel qu'un élastomère où sont dispersées des particules conductrices de noir de fumée. Les regions les plus étroites 12 de passage du courant, où celui-ci atteint sa densité maximale, sont placées à l'écart des électrodes et entre celles-ci. On élimine ainsi une grande partie des pannes qui se produisent quand la densité de courant est maximale au voisinage immédiat des électrodes 10. Application au chauffage lent et continu d'organes divers.
