La serviette périodique, comportant une masse absorbante de forme générale plate et allongée, est caractérisée en ce que la masse absorbante présente une épaisseur supérieure dans une zone centrale et s'amincit vers ses bords. Application à la réalisation de serviettes périodiques à bords amincis, discrets, mais à capacités absorbantes élevées.
