Abstract

The garage door leaf has a profile frame with an inwardly extending ridge (3). A profiled strengthening strut (16) connects two opposite frame legs (2). This strut has at its two ends a depression (4), so that a running rail can be let into the door leaf. This depression leads as far as the strut end, which is provided with a tab (17) which extends transverse to the longitudinal axis of the strut (16) and can be provided with a weld projection. In this way the strut can be secured cost-effectively and particularly reliably in the framework on two planes perpendicular to one another, when at the same time the one leg (6) of the strengthening strut (16) is secured on the ridge (3) of the frame leg.
