Abstract
La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'hydrogène. Plus particulièrement il s'agit d'un procédé de préparation d'hydrogène par irradiation en lumière visible d'une solution aqueuse contenant un complexe de ruthénium et de bipyridine ou phénantroline substituée ou non substituée dans lequel la solution aqueuse contient au moins : - un composé donneur d'électrons, - un métal catalyseur d'hydrogénation ou un composé d'un tel métal, et - un composé accepteur d'électrons. Ce procédé est utile notamment pour le stockage de l'énergie solaire.
