Abstract

The hull is fabricated from pre formed sections. Each section is curved longitudinally or across in the form of the arc of a circle. The thickness of the plates may be different for different locations in the hull and the shapes are hydraulically formed. The plates are made from stainless steel containing chrome, nickel, molybdinum or titanium and the welding of the plates is maintained below 2-5 meters per square meter of plate surface.
