Abstract

Packaging cardboard of the type which is contoured by deforming the flat sheet, is composed of grooves or channels whose depth is equal to between one half and three times the average thickness of the flat cardboard and is pref. equal to the average single thickness. The treated cardboard is strong, with increased rigidity in one direction, and the grooved effect is produced by cold drawing.
