Abstract

L'invention concerne un synthétiseur numérique de sons. Il produit des tonalités avec des raies spectrales de largeur variable en accumulant successivement des accroissements de phase pour chacun d'un groupe d'échantillons de tonalités. La fréquence d'accumulation de phase pour chaque tonalité est modifiée de façon aléatoire avec des valeurs prédéterminées d'accroissement de phase pour élargir les raies spectrales. Les signaux produits de cette manière peuvent être affichés et peuvent être convertis en des sons par un haut-parleur. L'invention s'applique à la production de sons qui ressemblent plus étroitement à des sons naturels.
