Abstract
The rectangular roof cladding panel may be used on industrial sheds etc.. and has rupture lines which enables triangular corner pieces of alternative sizes to be broken off on site. The arrangement facilitates sheet edge overlapping during installation, being particularly designed to obviate four layer corner overlaps. One or all corners may include the rupture line detail, and the cladding may be of a bound fibrous material e.g. asbestos cement. Alternative parallel rupture lines may be provided at each corner to accommodate different site details, and each line may be formed by linear intermittent reductions in sheet thickness effected before the cement hardens. The reductions in thickness may be formed by a cutter, a comb a roller, an undulating blade or a saw blade.
