Abstract

La présente invention concerne les tubes à ondes progressives à cavités couplées. Dans le tube selon l'invention, comprenant au moins un circuit de pré-étage à ondes lentes 4 et un circuit à ondes lentes de sortie 6 agencés le long d'un trajet d'un faisceau électronique 2, chacun de ces circuits à ondes lentes comprenant au moins une cavité d'accord 4b, 6b disposée à une extrémité de chacun de ces circuits, au moins une cavité d'accord 4f, 6i étant disposée à l'autre extrémité de circuit, au moins deux cavités principales 4c, 4d; 6d, 6e étant interposées entre ces cavités d'accord, les parois internes d'au moins une cavité d'accord aux extrémités opposées du circuit de pré-étage à ondes lentes, de la cavité d'accord à l'extrémite la plus proche du canon à électron du circuit à ondes lentes de sortie, et d'au plus la moitié des cavités principales adjacentes à cette cavité d'accord du circuit à ondes lentes de sortie sont revêtues d'une couche de métal à résistance élevée. Application notamment aux systèmes de transmission par satellite.
