Abstract

A spatial datum unit has freedom of movement in two directions, and two angular detectors for the rotation about two axes from a locked position, together with two motors coupled together. A computer calculates the duration of the projectile trajectory from the range measured, and the torques exerted by the motors. A lens system with one or more movable reflectors allows the automatic offsetting for an angle of the intersection of the aiming wires in relation to the launching tube. This system consists of a double-reflecting telescope whose axis is parallel to that of the launching tube. An axial ray emanating from the wire intersection is reflected by two reflectors, one or both of which are movable.
