Abstract

The attachment is drawn behind a tractor and comprises a central chassis (41) supporting a beam at each side. Each beam is angularly adjustable in the horizontal plane and carries discs which are used to pile the earth into the centre. This earth pile is then passed under a former (37) placed at the rear of the attachment the earth being shaped into a flat topped ridge. The former is made from sheet metal and has vertical sides (44) angled inwards to compress the earth; vee-shaped top plates (40, 43) spread and smooth the flat surface.
