Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé et un dispositif de distillation ou concentration d'une solution utilisant le pouvoir calorifique du rayonnement solaire. Le procédé se caractérise en ce qu'il consiste à réaliser, dans une enceinte exposée au rayonnement solaire, d'une part, le chauffage de la solution par échange de chaleur avec une surface susceptible d'absorber le rayonnement solaire et, d'autre part, dans une chambre isolée thermiquement de ladite surface absorbante et de l'air ambiant, l'évaporation de la solution chauffée en établissant dans ladite chambre un écoulement de ladite solution et la condensation de la vapeur formée sur la paroi supérieure de ladite chambre en irriguant la face de cette paroi externe à la chambre par un fluide froid mis en circulation à contre-courant de la solution. Application au dessalement d'une solution saline, notamment d'eau de mer.
