Abstract

The fastener is used to secure jewellry and has a handle (8) which can be locked in the body (1) like a padlock. The handle is a hook with a cylindrical section and its parallel extremities (6, 7) slide in two openings (4, 5) in the top of the body. It is locked by stacked rollers (3) which are hollow cylinders (13) with one extremity (14) which is wider. This has a central hole (15) with a radial notch (16) into which, in one position, projections (17) on one extremity of the handle fit to free the lock. The fastener can be made of precious metal.
