Abstract

The junction block is for conduits carrying electrical cables esp. prefabricated conduit based used in factories and buildings. The block has an outer and inner insulating casing. The inner casing is divided lengthways into separate channels by spacing partitions. Conductors (2) brought in from both ends of the block are interconnected by two screw operated clamps (5) securing a bridging link (50) across the two conductors. The conduit end walls have longitudinal extensions (34) and inserts (45) securing the incoming conductors by bolts positioned between the conductors. The block inner and outer casings are secured by bolts running through interior pillars (72).
