Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé d'obtention de titane à partir d'une source contenant du titane, suivant lequel : a. On soumet ladite source à une calcination réductrice en 2; b. On la lave ensuite en 5 à l'aide de chlorure d'hydrogène aqueux, à température élevée; c. On refroidit la solution lavée et on la sature en 8 à l'aide de chlorure d'hydrogène gazeux; d. On sépare en il le précipité de chlorure ferreux résultant du composé de titane soluble; e. On élève la température de la solution du composé de titane de façon à faire précipiter en 19 le composé de titane et f. On sépare en 21 le composé de titane cristallisé de la liqueur de lavage.
