Abstract

Le dispositif comprend une pince 16 qui est susceptible de coopérer avec l'extrémité de l'âme 1c d'un profilé 1 amené contre une butée 17 et dont l'axe s'étend au-dessus de la surface d'appui 15 de l'élément de support 9 de façon que ladite pince puisse décrire une trajectoire circulaire centrée sur l'arête de pivotement du profilé contre cette surface 15; cette pince est solidaire d'au moins deux mors 37, 38 situés symétriquement l'un de l'autre par rapport à l'axe précité et elle est reliée à un moyen d'entraînement en rotation 24, tolérant grâce au cardan 22, qu'elle décrive la trajectoire circulaire considérée en appliquant cependant un moment de retournement. Un tel dispositif peut être utilisé pour retourner tout produit longiligne devant rester parallèle à lui-même; il est donc applicable plus spécialement au retournement des profilés de charpente métallique à travailler dans une installation d'usinage, de soudage ou de montage.
