Abstract

The remote control driving mirror has the mirror housing and the mirror assembly secured on an intermediate support plate by special crossed axes mountings. The plate absorbs the vibrations of each component so that a stable mirror setting is possible. The mounting is suitable for large mirrors of utility vehicles. It damps the road and transmission vibrations. Two servo motors are linked to the crossed axis mountings which include manual adjusting controls.
