Abstract

The bale collector and loader picks the bales up directly from the ground forming part of a tractor front-end loader. It comprises a series of bars (1, 2) mounted horizontally and obliquely w.r.t. the travel direction at the forward end of a cage forming the inlet and sliding over the ground. The bars are mounted parallel to the non-parallel sides of an isosceles trapezium, and are extended by horizontal bars (4, 5) parallel to the travel direction, forming passages along which the bales slide to the rear of the cage.
