Abstract

Appareil générateur de vapeur, comprenant un récipient pourvu d'un couvercle et d'une poignée de préhension manuelle, et dans lequel sont disposées des électrodes afin de réaliser un jet de vapeur par électrolyse d'eau contenue dans le récipient. L'appareil est muni d'une came rotative 11 de réglage de l'écartement entre les électrodes 4, placée entre celles-ci et pouvant être actionnée à partir d'un bouton manuel 13 encastré dans le couvercle 2. Ceci permet de régler la puissance du jet de vapeur sortant par l'orifice 6 à la valeur désirée en fonction du type d'application prévu. L'appareil s'applique au traitement à la vapeur de tissus pour les défroisser, et au décollage des papiers peints.
