Abstract

Appareil de séparation sélective de particules d'un mélange de liquides et de solides contenant des particules solides de dimensions et de poids divers. Il comporte un conduit permettant l'introduction du mélange dans une chambre cylindrique à l'intérieur de laquelle tourne un cylindre perforé. Un deuxième conduit permet au trop-plein du mélange, contenant de fines particules solides, de s'écouler, et un troisième conduit permet à un courant inférieur du liquide, contenant des particules solides plus grosses, de s'écouler également. Une duse réglable communique avec au moins l'un des deuxième et troisième conduits afin de permettre un réglage sélectif des débits d'écoulement du trop-plein et du courant inférieur. An adjustable choke communicates with at least one of the second and third conduits to allow selective adjustment of the overflow and underflow flow rates.
