Abstract

The control system for an indicating instrument includes equipment which produces a succession of pneumatic impulses to feed a pneumatic stepping mechanism. On the drive shaft (3) of the stepping motor is an interrupter (4) giving periodic interruption of a jet of air from an orifice (5) in a compressed air pipe system. The interrupter is a simple geometric shape. Certain parts of this block control the orifice. The orifice is placed in front of a collector orifice and, with it, they form an output - input system. The interrupter can be a cylinder with openings for, alternatively, a disc with holes in it.
