Abstract

On récupère la cellulose en traitant les matières cellulosiques pour éliminer l'hémicellulose, puis en dissolvant les matieres cellulosiques dans un solvant, après quoi on élimine la lignine puis on fait précipiter la cellulose de la solution restante. On peut récupérer la cellulose sous forme de feuilles ou de longs fils, de fibres ou bien sous la forme d'un floculat, et on peut ensuite l'hydrolyser en glucose en lui faisant subir l'action d'une enzyme de cellulose et/ou d'un acide.
