Abstract

On procède en trois étapes dans la première, on polymérise du propylène ou on copolymérise un mélange de propylène et d'éthylène dans un rapport de 6/94 ou moins, et la quantité polymérisée représente de 60 à 95 % de la quantité totale; dans la deuxième, on copolymérise un mélange d'éthylène et de propylène dans un rapport de 15/85 à 79/21, et quantité polymérisée représente de 1 à 20 % de la quantité totale; et dans la troisième, on copolymérise un mélange d'éthylène et de propylène dans un rapport de 50/50 à 89/11 et la quantité polymérisée représente de 4 à 35 % de la quantité totale Le rapport de réaction éthylène/propylène est plus grand dans la troisième étape que dans la deuxieme. On obtient des copolymères bien équilibrés par leur résistance au choc, leur rigidité, leur transparence et leur << voile de choc >>.
