Abstract

A paper clip is designed to carry a symbol or trademark in order to "personalise" the article. The paper clip has two flat surfaces joined by a narrow bridge (6). One edge of the front surface (1) is turned over so that the clip can be located on the corner of the papers (5). A partial cut-out in the rear surface (3) enables the outer region (4) to be formed into a resilient arm to clip the papers. The front surface (1) is decorated with the company symbol (2) which is cut through the thickness of the material to reveal the colour of the paper held inside the clip.
