Abstract

Les tubes 8 sont dépourvus d'ailettes 9 au voisinage de leurs extrémités sur une longueur suffisante pour laisser le champ libre aux lances de chauffe 22 utilisées lors du brassage des tubes sur le collecteur 6. Avant de raccorder les tubes au collecteur, on enfile sur l'extrémité correspondante desdits tubes un masque de protection 23 qui recouvre les ailettes 9 boisines de ladite extrémité et les protège de la chaleur. Une fois le brassage terminé, on applique le masque contre le collecteur 6. La profondeur du masque est de préférence suffisante pour qu'il obture alors l'espace qui subsiste entre le collecteur et les premières ailettes 9. Application, notamment, aux appareils de chauffage industriel et aux radiateurs de véhicules à moteur.
