Abstract

The connection between a tube plate and cover is used for making a water tank for a heat exchanger. The cover edge is sealed by a seal in the gutter profile. One side of the channel profile forms a support face (48) against which the cover inner edge rests. The gutter carries the sealing profile (34) on which is placed the thickened edge of the cover. This cover is firmly held by an inwards bent top part of the channel outside flange. The clamping edges are bent inwards at regular intervals.
