Abstract

The electronic drain equipment discharges any liquid collecting in air vessels between compressors and the equipment supplied by them avoiding air leaks, corrosion and other troubles inherent with mechanical equipment. It has a probe connected to a resistance detector, an isolating transformer, and a power circuit. The low-tension probe can be connected to an alternating-current resistance detector, thus avoiding any possibility of electrolysis of components in contact with the liquid. The equipment can be mounted on a pipe from the base of the air vessel, controlling operation of a solenoid drain valve.
